Raising $

I haven't blogged in a long time, but I thought this would be the best way to share pictures and raise money for MuckFest Round 2.  Last May, Jeff and I participated in a 5K muddy obstacle course through the MS Society.  For those of you that don't know, my dad was diagnosed with MS about 11 years ago.  He fights it everyday and although it isn't fun watching him get worse each year, we are encouraged by his determination to keep living life and not letting MS control what he can and can't do.

It was a cold and rainy day last May that Jeff and I did this 5K mud run.  It was super fun (at least for me) and super cold - especially when you're crawling through mud and jumping into muddy water.  However, it was for a good cause so we pushed through it.

You can see Jeff jumping and I got to the edge of the platform and realized how far down I was jumping.  I grabbed the pole and nearly flew off the side but somehow managed to stop myself.  I did eventually jump, but this was the scariest obstacle for me!

This year the MuckFest is in July and we're hoping for a sunny, hot day.  We are ready for round 2 and are excited to raise money to help find a cure for MS.  Would you consider donating?  Even a donation of $5 is accepted and will help us each reach our goals.
